Makoto felt like an idiot.
He'd managed to forget his keys before leaving for work earlier that day, and now he was locked out of the house. He cursed himself under his breath for being so scatter-brained. With a huff, he knocked on the door, hoping Kyoko would hear him and come to his rescue.
It was always a reverse princess situation with them, wasn't it?
It took a while before Kyoko even heard him. In her defense, she was vacuuming, and Makoto knocked so lightly you'd think he was afraid of breaking the door.
Kyoko chided him over forgetting his keys, saying in a playful tone that he's forget his head if it wasn't attached to his body. Makoto rolled his eyes playfully at that, muttering some half-assed excuse.
Well, he wouldn't forget his keys again, at least.
