Makoto tried to concentrate on his schoolwork, he really did. But he was extremely nervous about his test results. He found was very fidgety, drumming his fingers on the desk and intertwining them together. Chihiro shot him a sympathetic look. Aoi gave him a small smile. Celestia looked mildy amused, though it was hard to tell; the gambler's poker face was unmatched.

After class, Kyoko approached him, questioning his behavior. He told her about his stress, and she gave him some reassuring words. The brunette found himself believe her words of encouragement, until eventually the doubt was erased.
Kyoko was really a comfort figure to him, keeping him grounded and washing away his anxiety.
