Alana sat quietly on the couch as Willy took a mug of hot chocolate for her. He didn't know why but he chose to gave her a hot chocolate instead of a coffee. He doesn't know how to make her feel better nor to placate her. Willy barely dated someone. He only involved in a relationship once or twice.
He watched as she sat there, wiping every tears that fall from her eyes. She looks so fragile that he regretted everything. He can't stand seeing her keep on crying but he got no other choice if that's what makes her feel better. The two sat there in the living room with a constant silent. All that he can hear was the sound of her movement. Other than that, Willy heard her trembling breathing.
"Alana... you can hit me if that's what makes you feel better," Willy broke the silent tension between them.
Alana's gazed dropped to him as another tears fall. Then, a moment later she finally cried loudly, like a small kid. Willy sighed, helplessly. "I hate you for making me like this! I'm disgusted," she wailed.
Willy came closer to her. He took both her hands as he led it to his face. He then slapped his face lightly with her hands. But Alana shook as she cried. "No! That didn't make me feel better!" She cried even more.
Now, she's a real crybaby. How she hated it. Alana pulled her hands away as she hit her left chest with her fist. It's more hurting inside rather than her physical. She could feel how hurt was the pain throbbing inside her chest. All she could see was her future crashed down.
Willy can't stand it anymore, he embraced her. "Shh... Don't hurt yourself. You got to love yourself, Alana. I promised you, no matter what happened, I'll be by your side." He shushed her. Alana didn't respond much but crying continuously in his embraced. Even with him by her side, promising to take care of her, she still felt insecure.
Eventually, she ended up sleeping in his arms. Willy carefully laid her on his bed. He covered her with a new blanket that he had changed. Earlier that morning, he had called a cleaner to come over and washed all the dirty beds cover.
He carefully put her hands down on the bed. Willy realized a thing about her at that moment, Alana is really fragile deep inside. Her laughter and endless laugh was just a way for her to cover her insecure.
He stroked her hair soothingly. I promised you, I won't leave you, Alana Cooper.

When evening came, Alana finally woke up from her sleep. She noticed that the day had became dark. She scrambled off of the bed and hurried to the living room, where she had left her stuffs earlier. Willy was doing his homework when she entered the living room.
"You're awake," he plainly said. Yet, she ignored him. She took her backpack and looked around. Where's the clock? She contemplated.
"What are you looking for?" He rised up from his sitting. He sauntered over and mimicked her action, looking around the room. "What's the time now?" Alana asked a little too impatience when she can't find a hint of clock on the wall.
Willy looked at his wrist, "7:30 p.m." He stated as a matter of fact. She gasped and turned to the door. Willy was bewildered by her action so he followed her to the door. "Where are you going?" He stepped towards her.
Alana hastened to wear her shoes. "Shit." She cursed. If there's a thing she hate, she haven't been late for her work. She had promised Mrs Rorra that she will started her shift sharp at 5:00 that day.
Willy took his car keys and didn't wait for any longer. Alana ignoredd him totally even when she saw him taking his car keys.
"Alana, wait." He called after her as he slipped on random slipper on his feet. Alana didn't turn around. She got her own mind. She kept on walking without care about what he was saying. All she could think was her grandma, her job and her living expense depends on her.
"Alana," he caught one of her arm and spun her around. "Wait." Willy repeated. Alana squinted her eyes sharply and twisted her arm free. Nevertheless, Willy didn't just give up. He took bigger step each time she walked.
"Alana, listen to me." Willy demanded. "Go away." she said sternly without turning around. "Alana, please. Listen to me."
She whirled around and stared at him. "What do you want again, Willy? Aren't you have enough of me?" Just by his presence, she's hating him more. Not to mention, she still can't get over what had happened. Not when he's still lingered around her.
Willy naturally shutted his lips, forgetting what he intended to say. He surely know how much she hates him, because he freaking ruined her.
Alana didn't think twice and just went ahead to her workplace. In the darkness of the night, she felt even better rather than in the daylight. The dark night accompany her well, as if the silent actually listened to her. How much she's hurting, like no one could understand but only the nature. The darkness fitted her feelings too well.
When she returned home that night, her grandma was watching the television. Alana didn't know why but once she saw the old lady's face, she couldn't contain her feelings anymore. Not when she asked her "What's wrong?"
Alana immediately teared up. Speechless, the old lady approached her and hugged her tightly. With a warm smile, her grandma soothingly rubbed her back. "There there young lady. What happened to you?"
But that doesn't makes her feel better. Alana teared up even more. How Alana wished she could tell the old lady what had happened to her precious granddaughter. Alana didn't want her to worry about her. Not when she herself is sick and old.
Her grandma was too old to be worried sick about her. Moreover, Alana had all grown up. "Grandma..." she managed to utter.
Her grandma nodded and continued to rubbed her on her back, "Oh Alana. It's alright. I'm here for you, honey."

"Remember, there are two months to go till your graduation, pupils." Mr Terry reminded them.
Alana gulped down her worries. Her stomach churned ever so much that she felt the urged to puke. It's two months. Two fucking months left before high school ended. By that time, she couldn't imagine herself if she didn't graduate from high school completely. Kyle along with the other classmate of theirs, answered 'Yes.' to the teacher.
The teacher excused himself as he went out from the class. It's already recess time. Kyle arranged his textbooks and slipped it in his backpack. "Wanna hang out with me later?" He casually asked like he usually did.
Alana shook. "I'm sorry. I can't." This is the umpteenth time she had declined his invitation. Kyle haven't say anything about it for the moment. But he will either shrugged or just waved it away. Yet, he still can't get it why she's acting strangely lately. Like she's not the usual Alana. Like she had been possessed by some other soul.
There's no playful in her studies, no random laugh comes out of nowhere, no stupid pranked and there's more that's missing.
He started to think that maybe, just maybe that she's trying to focus on her study. Well, that makes sense though.
Kyle excused himself to the canteen, leaving Alana alone at her seat. Alana was too focused with her works that she didn't reaelized Willy had bravely went up to her. Willy cleared his throat.
Alana looked up from her work. She practically looked at him with an empty gazed. "Err, don't you want to go eat?"
She blinked at him and just looked back at her work. Willy literally acknowledge her as ignoring him again. "Alana, there's something I need to tell you. Can we meet at my house later on?" he lowered his voice a little just so the other didn't listen.
Alana crossed her arms to her chest. "You're impossible, don't you?"
Willy shrugged off her question, "I'll meet you then. It's about you too." He left without waiting for her answer because he knows that she'll for sure refused to. Willy sighed a shagged breath. This is our last resort before you get pregnant, he shutted his textbook and kept it in the desk.
