POV Prince Kaelen: At The Balcony

Lady Eda seemed totally different from the last time I met her.

I looked at her as she was talking and chatting so freely with other people.

Last time she just wanted to run away from everything.

I noticed that guy next to her, they really looked alike.

Lady Eda had introduced him as her brother, he’s probably her twin.

I was rather attracted to him. He seemed a really nervous type though.

Then I suddenly saw him slip onto the balcony. Without even realizing what I was doing I followed him.

It seemed like I had a déjà vu. First I just stared at him, looking at what he was doing.

He was looking at the moon, the same thing Lady Eda did on our first meeting.

Everything was clear, I already had my suspicion when I saw both of them appear in the entrance.

He must have been the ‘Eda’ on that party. I suddenly wanted to tease him. I already could guess how his reaction would be.

“Good evening, Lord Eden, was it?”

“You are correct, Your Highness, but you can just call me Eden, because everyone does.”

I could see he became nervous and I said: ”Don’t be so nervous around me , I am not going to eat you. “

His eyes became very big, and he quickly looked down. That was enough proof for me that he was the ‘Eda’ from that time.

I whispered in his ear: “It has been a while , My Lady.”

He looked up to me, rather shocked.

 “Y—Y—You –You!”, he stuttered, and he fell down while walking backwards.

I could just fetch him in time before he hit the floor.

I could feel how fast his heartbeat went.

I loosened my grip on his waist a bit so I could look at his face.

“Are you okay?”
